is regained by the Man
BEREN
& passes to
THINGOL
who sets it in the
NAUGLAMIR
&
after much pain
it comes to
ELWING
who with the Man
Eärendil
takes the Star into the West
where it is set
in the
SKY
upon the brow of
Eärendil

The
REMAINING TWO are regained
after the fall of
MELKOR
but Maedthros casts
ONE SILMARIL
into the
FIERY ABYSS
&
THE OTHER
is cast by Maglor
into the
SEA

THE THREE RINGS
are created by
CELEBRIMBOR
but may not be used
because of the
ONE RING

Then is fashioned
THE PHIAL of GALADRIEL
that is gifted to
THE RING-BEARER
and passes at last
INTO THE WEST
