Thank you for your recent letter and I'm delighted to hear that MeRS recently ran a competition to design a tail fin livery that might express something of Tolkien's creative legacy.

I am naturally impressed by the quality of the workmanship in this design and would like to congratulate most sincerely the winner. They have certainly captured the sentiment extremely well and I can only convey how extremely impressed I am.
